The history of white wedding gown originated and popularized by Queen Victoria in the 18th century. She wore white satin gown on her wedding day. Since then it has been long accepted tradition to wear a white wedding gown on your wedding day.
Since, it not a true tradition but only a trend that is carried out until now, I will wear what I see fit that will complement my budget and my wedding day. I see many brides wear different color on their wedding day and still have the same fun and happiness.
The gown is by Demetrios limited design and is discontinued. Meaning, I will be the only one wearing this dress, if there is none other like it there that is still in circulation.
The gown is similar to my traditional costume called the "saya." It has a chapel train and it is very light very good for DIY photo shoot that I have in mind. The color of my dress is exactly what you see on the photo. How cute :)
